 Wake up before the sunrise again

What will this day truly bring?

Brought before your eyes the rain

The world itself remains afraid

You walk arching your back

What a magnificent chip that is

You carry it on your shoulder

But never fall to its whims

Don't think, just do

Act according to your beliefs

What did they gain, those who thought it through

Didn't they all leave

Be brave and take the world on

Eventually it'll bend knee to your will

And if it doesn't, at least you've tried

You did owe it to yourself

Spend your years longing for the truth

But in all honesty, it's always been you

The mistakes we've made together

The errors of the past

We always swore to remain forever

But nothing ever lasts

They say everything you touch eventually dies

But that's what it is to be human

Death is the only constant in life

It may follow you

Like a shadow right at dawn

But it does follow everyone too

Just not as close

So you prepare

You brave the storms yet again

The world collapsing

And yet you stand

Rebuild again and again

New beginnings sprouting from the end

A dark cloud looms in the horizon

But you know it to just be the rain

You still see the sun that's rising

You'll see sunshine again

So spread your wings and fly, lightly

Go beyond the horizon

Let that spirit of you burn so brightly

Till it bursts as it keeps rising

Be reborn in ashes of your own flames

You are ever-renewing again

You are my dearest, closest friend

You are my sunshine in the end

So hold out your hands

Steady your feet

Prepare to take stand

Right in the end with me

I am your bastion

Your guardian

I am you

Together then

As one

We'll spread our wings yet again

And again and again

We will always fly

You and I are forever there

Grab ahold of me

I will never let go

Free to roam on your own

Explore what it is

Stand still in the gravity

Float through the drop

Nothing could ever stop us

From reaching the safety at the top
