 I see fire in the horizon
Fueling me to rise up
The burning flame
That burns deep within
All the complaints
Spurned, steep disdain
A flaming breath
Heaved out with my sighs
Small, little sparks
Blasting from my eyes
Vengeance
A sense of duty overtaking
Patience
The guilt was never mistaken
I have failed
To capture that which
I believe is mine
I succeeded
In believing in the divine
And yet
I find myself
Defying the rules
Flying away
Nothing to lose
Or so I tell myself
Or so I do believe
A hymn of valour
Emitted
The fire within burning
Oh so bright
The wind churning
My bones do grind
The infernal desire to blast away
Growing, engrossing all that which is me
The juvenile intelligence carried away
Blowing every chance to be free

A survivor finally awakened
Walking
Unmistaken
Spoken truth
Spoken youth
Unspoken guilt
The mask is loose
Explode
Spread your wings
Be reborn
Like an infernal phoenix

Perhaps death is an old friend
Or an enemy, I don't know

Pleasant or not, I do not know

Regret, a quality
Not of yours
Speaking through
The shuttering pain
Anger and dysfunction
A meteoric dysjunction
That breaks you from inside
All that infernal pride
Like a devil, you feel so great

And yet everything
Is left lonely, awry
A broken angel
Or a devil scheming
A known quantity
Or a wild card
A soul that's mangled
Or a soulless being
Spoken profanity
Till The Hour starts
Walk your path
And walk with purpose
Make your choices

All those noises

With our bare fists

The inferno is calm
