Into the long lost plains

Know there's to defeat
No good or evil
Or right or wrong
A thought burns itself in your memory
A soul burns through you like fire
The breathing helps contain your agony
The war that has raged on inspires
Your anger
Your hatred
In danger
You lead us to safety
But now we are safe my dear
We are ready to be alone
Set yourself free from us
And ready to walk
It's time to go
I'm sorry I can't hold on
But in a time of war
You changed forever
In a world so cold
You burned so bright
You melted all the ice
And the heat generated
Left nothing but a spire
A small little pyre to burn corpses on
