 The stars stopped guiding me
They set me free
Told me I was on my own
I was but a corpse who wasn't aware
That it was dead so it kept moving on
I tried my best to fight my worst fears
I tried my best to remain alone
But then you can along
From somewhere, I don't know
I felt like I was too young
And yet too old
I tried so hard to push you away
You would not budge
You would have it only your way
And I tried my absolute best
To save myself the pain and regret
And just remain friends
But I knew there was something special
About you when you spoke to me
Your words they were unique
Your eyes penetrated my soul
We lie to one another, make it up as we go

We die and revive each other
Again and again and again
You might not be here forever

But for me forever is meaningless
