I've seen your kind
Time and time again
During my travels through
The realms of fate
I've known your type
It was always here or there
So you could say I know you
And I know this place
Guess I should've seen the end sooner
But hey, that's on me
For not believing that fate

No matter how much we try to escape
No matter the shuttles we hide upon
No matter the masks that hide our face
No matter how hard we try to move on
And let go of the past
It always catches up
So I stand here still defiant
In the face of my fuckups
I stand tall and proud
Of all the mistakes I've made
The meaning of my stand profound
As I walk the empty space
That is your heart
You unforgiving soul
I've walked all the way through fate
To know
That you would never let me go
But I've learned over the years
That my place resides not with fear
But with the knowledge that I contain
The power that I've attained
The world around my in my fingers
And yet it all still escape
So I will stand and face my end
Like I have faced my fates
I will stand and watch you rend
All that was on my plate
Break me apart
And don't build me anew
For all I could care for has been lost
Ages ago
I've always wanted to know the truth
But you all did lie
And soldiers you made me and mine
One wonders what truly does define
What we face or what we defy
For in this field we are immortalized
Heroes together combined in one
Soul brave enough to brave
The world around and die in peace
Even when the end's present
All the failures were conceived
In this very moment
When we gave up
And ran away
Even if we knew
IT was our end

You observe what you can't hold
You try to make fake meaning
You see the world whole
Yet you can't fix your gleaming
The hole within
The soul abound
To fall within
The open ground
An empty pit
A fall is now
So jump with me
Some of us may fall
But the others I promise
Will succeed
Take a leap of faith
And put your faith in Faith
As she has put hers in me
Let us jump and face
Our misery
With a smile on our face
