Corner

 In the corner I stay
Observing the people
In my own universe
The things I have dreamt
I really do play
Myself like a weirdo
Throwing out spells
In the universe I've built
And the people they look back
Wondering what I'm staring at
Unaware of how valuable
My corner is to me
They question my stay
They think of deceit
When I tell them that
I truly am happy
My corner is sweet
My corner is safe
The world outside
Isn't my place
I stick in my corner
Hoping one day
To share this corner
With someone special
With someone who can
Appreciate my distance
Love my solitude
I daydream about it
I dream at night, too
For my corner spells peace
My corner means hope
Whenever I am sad
My corner is where I go
My whole life I observed
People come and go
None of them would stay
With me in this corner of mine
None of them would spare
The energy or the time
But I don't feel sad
For it is the solitude that I love
And I wish one day that
Someone would join me here
Sit down right next to me
And feel free
Feel free to relax
For this space is safe
My corner right here
Is my safe place
So won't you come around
I can give you a tour
Maybe you'll like it here
With me
