Under the dark rainclouds I walk a path with a smile For the weather may be depressing And I may be falling ill all the while Overthinking and stressing my life, but inside My mind glows a growing field of roses Being watered by the dark rainclouds My thoughts blossom in clusters Unorganised, but profound The noise is deafening, yet beautiful I spend my time listening to the sounds Of the drops of rain crashing on the land Landing with a thunderous noise Opening both my arms wide, I stand Unwavering in my stance or poise Under the dark rainclouds I smile and walk my path Reaching from a point to the next Pondering my journey, the faces I have met Imagining what would have been If I had chosen to shelter myself From the dark rainclouds I'd have met different people instead A brave man some would call me A coward some others would, too I couldn't care any less, to tell you the truth For I walk my path for me, not for them or you Not for anyone in between, you see For I walk thi...
